Gujarat Trains Affected: Several Trains Under Western Railway have been Disrupted

Passengers travelling on a few long-distance trains passing through Mangaluru Junction to destinations in Gujarat should note temporary changes in train services due to operational reasons. Southern Railway has announced that some trains under the Western Railway zone will be short-terminated or partially cancelled on selected dates.

Gujarat Trains Have Been Affected

According to the Palakkad Division of Southern Railway, the Tirunelveli Junction-Jamnagar Bi-weekly Express (Train No. 19577) will be short-terminated at Hapa for journeys beginning on August 3 and August 4. As a result, the train will remain partially cancelled between Hapa and Jamnagar.

The Ernakulam Junction-Okha Bi-weekly Express (Train No. 16338) will also be affected. For the journey starting on August 5, the train will terminate at Rajkot instead of Okha. The service between Rajkot and Okha will remain cancelled on that day.

Similarly, the return service, Okha-Ernakulam Junction Bi-weekly Express (Train No. 16337), will not start from Okha for the journey commencing on August 8. Instead, the train will originate from Rajkot at its scheduled departure time of 11:05 am. The section between Okha and Rajkot will remain cancelled.

Changes have also been announced for the Jamnagar-Tirunelveli Junction Bi-weekly Express (Train No. 19578). For the journey beginning on Saturday, the train will start from Hapa at 11:55 pm instead of Jamnagar, and the route between Jamnagar and Hapa will remain cancelled.

For journeys commencing on July 31, August 1 and August 7, Train No. 19578 will also originate from Hapa instead of Jamnagar. It will depart at its scheduled time of 9:40 pm, while services between Jamnagar and Hapa will remain cancelled.

Advisory for Passengers

Passengers travelling on these trains are advised to check the latest train status before starting their journey and make travel plans accordingly. Railway authorities have requested passengers to take note of the temporary changes to avoid inconvenience.
