Residents across several parts of Delhi are likely to experience scheduled power interruptions on Saturday, July 4, 2026, as electricity distribution companies undertake planned maintenance, transformer upgrades, network strengthening and repair works. Areas under BSES Rajdhani Power Limited (BRPL), BSES Yamuna Power Limited (BYPL) and Tata Power Delhi Distribution Limited (TPDDL) have been included in the day's shutdown schedule.
The temporary outages are part of routine infrastructure maintenance aimed at improving the reliability and safety of the power distribution network. Consumers are advised to plan their day accordingly and keep essential devices charged before the scheduled shutdown begins.

According to the announced schedule, power cuts have been planned in parts of:

- Sarita Vihar
- Mohan Garden
- Rajouri Garden Extension
- Laxmi Nagar
- Krishna Nagar
- Rohini
- Pitampura
- Model Town

- Tagore Garden
Area-wise Power Cut Timings
BRPL - South and West Delhi (10:00 AM - 5:00 PM)
- Power supply will remain affected in Mundka, Nangloi, Alaknanda, Tagore Garden and parts of Dwarka.
BRPL - Palam Division
- 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM: Palam, Raj Nagar 2, Raj Nagar Extension, Sector 8 Dwarka, Sector 9 Dwarka and Nasirpur.
- 11:00 AM - 12:30 PM: Block P (Raj Nagar Extension), Block A-1 (Vijay Enclave, Mahavir Enclave), and Block B (Mangalpuri and Mangalpuri II).
BRPL - Janakpuri Division
- 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM: Janakpuri and Janakpuri District Centre.
- 11:00 AM - 12:30 PM: Block C-2C.
- 11:07 AM - 12:37 PM: Block C-1.
- 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM: Block J-8, Rajouri Garden Extension and Rajouri Garden.
TPDDL - North-West Delhi
- 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM: Rohini, Pitampura and Model Town.
BYPL - East Delhi
- 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM: Laxmi Nagar and Krishna Nagar.
BRPL - Hauz Khas Division
- 11:07 AM - 1:07 PM: Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU).
- 2:08 PM - 2:23 PM: Block K, South Extension-II.
BRPL - Sarita Vihar Division
- 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM: Mithapur.
BRPL - Dwarka Division
- 10:07 AM - 12:07 PM: Suraj Vihar.
- 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM: Block S, Mohan Garden (Rajapur Khurd).

Why the Power Supply Is Being Interrupted
The scheduled shutdowns have been planned to facilitate transformer upgrades, LT circuit maintenance, network strengthening, equipment replacement and repairs. Electricity supply may be restored earlier than scheduled if the maintenance work is completed ahead of time.
Residents in the affected areas are advised to charge essential electronic devices in advance and make necessary arrangements for the temporary interruption in power supply.
