Several parts of Bengaluru will experience power cuts due to scheduled maintenance work by the Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation Limited (KPTCL). The Bengaluru Electricity Supply Company Limited (BESCOM) has announced that electricity supply will be disrupted in different areas as maintenance work is conducted.

According to the information released by BESCOM, the outages are connected to KPTCL's second-quarter maintenance work. In the affected areas, power supply is expected to remain unavailable from 10 am to 4 pm. Residents are advised to plan their work accordingly and keep essential electronic devices charged in advance.
Bengaluru Power Cut on 28 August: Areas to be Affected
On Friday, power interruptions are expected in several areas around Rajankunte and Singanayakanahalli. The affected locations include Honnenahalli, Singanayakanahalli, Rajankunte, Adda Vishwanathapura, Marasandra, Sriramanahalli, Nelakunte, Haniyur, Chellahalli, KMF, Itagalapura, Bairapura, Budamanahalli, Dibburu, Kakolu, Sonnahalli and Century Layout. Surrounding areas may also be affected.
Bengaluru Power Cut on 29 August: Areas to be Affected
On Saturday, the power cut will mainly affect areas under the Kadugodi substation. Several neighbourhoods around Kadugodi, Whitefield, Channasandra, Immadihalli and Hagadur are included in the list.
The affected areas include Belathur, Ayyappa Temple, Kumbena Agrahara, Patalamma Layout, VSR Layout, Kadugodi, Channasandra, FCI Godown, Safal, Shankarpura, Siddhartha Layout, Sai Ashram, Immadihalli, Kaithota, Dinnur, Maitri Layout, Government Polytechnic, Channasandra Main Road, Nagondanahalli, Nagaraj Layout, Dommarapalya, Prashanth Layout, Upkar Layout, Prithvi Layout, Swami Vivekananda Road, Whitefield Main Road, ECC Road and Naidu Layout.
Other affected locations include Inner Circle, Bhairavenayya Temple Road, Rustomjee Layout, Ambedkar Nagar Gutta, Prestige Mayberry Apartments, Adarsh Farm Meadows, Hagadur, Vinayanagar, Brigade Cosmopolis Apartments, Vijayanagar, Gandhipura and Sumadhura Apartments, along with surrounding areas.
Residents in these localities should make necessary arrangements before the scheduled outage and check BESCOM updates for any changes in timings.
