About 3 kilometers out of town is a majestic ropeway that takes you from Darjeeling to Rangit Valley. One of India's oldest ropeways, this cable car connects Darjeeling with Single Bazaar which is situated at the bottom of the valley. Singla Bazaar is on the other end and tourists enjoy traveling over the clouds and enjoying awe-inspiring views of the tea gardens below.
