The Rashtriyashala in Rajkot is an interesting tourist destination. Started by Mahatma Gandhi in 1921, the school was set up with a view to show non-cooperation with the government and to educate people with subjects based only on the national concepts.
Presently, the Rashtriyashala provides education and training in projects such as manual oil pressing and weaving cotton and khadi. The school is functional from 9 am to 12 pm.
