Shahpurkandi Fort, Pathankot

Shahpurkandi Fort was built in 1505 by Jaspal Singh Pathania, a famous Rajput chief. It was primarily built to control the regions of Nurpur and Kangra. The fort complex has many beautiful mosques and temples, which signify the secular outlook of the rulers. The view from this fort is quite breathtaking, which is enhanced by the Ravi river as well as the Himalayas.
