The Fort of Udgir is one of India’s best preserved forts in the region, and a place for photographers to experiment all day long! This is where the transfer of power between the Marathas and the Nizam was decided way back in the 1700s.
This fort, relatively well preserved, is bordered by a deep moat and features some unique attractions like the throne room 60 ft underground and some rare Persian and Arabic inscriptions
