Mazar of Mir Nasir Ahmed is dedicated to Mir Nasir Ahmed - the descendent of the legendary singer Mian Tansen. Mir Nasir Ahmed started the Kapurthala Gharana, introducing Punjab to Tansen’s Senia-Beenkar tradition. This tomb is considered as a pilgrimage for all classical musicians and singers. The arches and domes of this beautiful mazar depict a mix of Indian and Mughal architecture.
