Chameli Van is another attraction, being a sacred place with an ancient monkey temple dedicated to Lord Hanuman, where devotees throng in large numbers from nearby areas, particularly on Tuesdays. Visitors bring large offerings of bananas for hundreds of monkeys who stay around the temple in a large area. It is also a good hot-spot for bird watching. Large numbers of migratory birds also come here from far-off places.
