The water logged fourteen villages of Kuseshwarasthan block are blessed with abundant varieties and species of flora and fauna. The area has been declared as “Kuseshwarasthan Bird Sanctuary” and is a must visit. The rare birds one can spot here are Dalmatian pelican, Indian darter, Bar-headed goose, White winged wood duck and Marbled teal, to name a few.
