Balekundri is a small village, located about a half hour drive from Belgaum. The place is famous for the temple of Shri Pant Maharaj set amidst a serene and tranquil garden of mango trees. Shri Pant Maharaj Balekundri is one of the great sages who emerged from Shree Datta Sampradaya, the oldest Sampradaya (ways or forms of devotion).
The ‘math’ houses the ‘paduka’ (ornamental footware) of Shri Pant Maharaj.
